I know this is supposed to be Wordless Wednesday, but you have to agree, that oven mitt above leaves you speechless (which is wordless), doesn't it?Please help solve the marital squabble:
Vote A: Display the God awful, ugly beast of an oven mitt in my beautiful kitchen. I don't care that my boy gave me it (hubby picked out) on my first Mother's Day when he was just 2 months old. My son is now 11, and laughs cause it's so hideous.
or:
Vote B: Keep it in the cabinet and keep the Queen of the Kitchen (who also feeds everyone) happy.

Okay I would say A because you can't look at it and not laugh HOWEVER I choose B... I don't think I need to explain why I pick B...
B for me. Once I throw out one that now years later I wish I hadn't. And It always a good one for re-gifting to family, maybe Hubby,LOL.

Oh, I would have to go with B also. Perhaps if you could convince everyone else that keeping it in the closet is actually MORE complimentary - like, it would keep cleaner in there, and safer, and it would just be SO much fun to have in the closet...
Or maybe hubby can use it when he is cooking (ahem)! Like, specially just for him!

If the giver doesn't care I'd vote to remove it but not throw it away. My son picked out a pair of huge hot pink furry slippers with purple flowers. I wore them a few times, trying hard not to trip over them and break many bones, and then I just stored them in my closet, where they still reside. If he ever asked about them I'd wear them for an evening. I'd never throw them away, though.
i like it actually. i think its cute lol. im the same im very sentimental. i have 2 plants my son bought my for mothers day that are now dead, but im gonna bring them back to life somehow!
